The back yard had a lot of Japanese clover and most of it was becoming matted so I thought I could put roundup, the kind that kills the roots on it. I had no sooner finished that we had a hard rain. I thought all my labor was wasted. Wrong. All of the glass that I was trying to save is dead. I have some grass seed on hand so I plan to replant and see what happens. I have been reading the blogs tonight and when I came to Kari's cakes they looked so gorgeous that It made me hungry. I noticed that yesterday's blog stated that Becky has gained the distinction of being a senior. I knew she would make it. Traci appears to be lost in Philly. I am betting she will have help moving. It will be someone from Texas. Any takers? Sarah has a dog. cute little fellow. UM huh. Regan will start school Monday evening. She plans to finish her degree. Good luck Reg.. Aaron is waiting for me to get some Genealogy to him and I am trying to get up enough ambition to send it. I am waiting on Sheridan and family to pay us a visit, but with the move I can understand. Cory, what are you and Jared up to these days? Well Monday my favorite daughter will come down/up (depends on how you look at it). with her youngest son and stay for about a week. we are looking forward to her stay. We have been considering going to Houston in September for 2-3 weeks. We hope to see you all at the wedding sometime around the end of July. We can only hope that their trip (Bruce, Sharon, Spencer) will be safe both going and return.
Love all of you. Bruno and GG

Grapes of wrath
Joan and I decided to put grape vines on the sides of the back yard, so we started with three vines and I decided to really make good soil to plant them in. I dug three holes and then put potting soil on the piles of dirt and mixed it well. I was careful to get the good soil around the roots of the grape vines. I think I spent too much time on my knees because my new joint is really hurting now. We got our new card which allows us to enter all of the national parks (FREE) and of course anyone who is in the car with us. We have been trying to work in a trip to Yellowstone;, but for some reason our days are crowded. I received a notice from the State that my drivers license needs to be renewed so they sent me the new application and said I could do it by mail. If I was 65 or older I had to have an eye exam from a DR. It just happened that I had already seen him due to an eye infection. Joan was putting drops in my eyes and I had to see him again for those. He signed the form for the state and I should get my new license in about 6-8 weeks.
We have had a little trouble with the light that shines on our flag at night. We had to put a new bulb in it and the other night I saw it come on about sun set and then get dimmer and knocked the circuit breaker. The inside of the bulb was covered with condensation, I have never seen anything like that. Oft times during the week we have from one to three little blond girls here with us for a few hours. Regan is up now and Sharon has all of them at their place so she had five little blonds. I understand Sarah is coming up and so Sharon will have six little blond girls. They have a big air slide and pool in their back yard, great for little blonds and one lovable little boy.
As soon as Joan teaches me how to get pictures on here I will show you the beauty of our flowers. Lilac bushes way over my head. Roses in bloom. Climatis in full bloom and several others blooming. We are expecting Becky and Kevin to pay us a visit on Monday and we are looking forward to that. Isaak and Shiela, IZ and little Ben were here for a few days and we really enjoyed their visit. I expect to keep our blog up when possible. We love you all.
